When two of your old friends ask for engagement photos in the vineyards sipping wine at sunset, it's an absolute NO DOUBT for me! We couldn't stop laughing and running around catching the twinkling glimpses of the sun setting. What a fun summer session this was back in August. I can't wait for these two to tie the knot next year!
When Nikki reached out about engagement photos, we started chatting about schedules because her fiancé Alex is a pilot. So obviously, how could we not take their engagement photos on a runway? It gets even better. As we got to know each other during the engagement session, it came out that Nikki herself was a stewardess, on one of Alex's flights, and that's how they met! The rest has been history and their cuteness was on overload that evening. And that golden hour we caught at the end of the day was to die for. Stay tuned NEXT December for the rest of their love story to unfold!
I met Roslyn and Daniel on a very hot summer evening and they were just beaming with the excitement of being engaged. Their love story is straight out of a fairytale and they have secret handshakes to top it off. I had the best time capturing their love and look forward to their Washington wedding next June!
It was a coooollldddd Saturday when we met for these photos, snow was even in the forecast. The temperatures didn't get Alysun + Darien down, and their adorable pup kept chasing us around. The snow started to fall just as we were finishing up, it couldn't have been more perfect! Hopefully their wedding in October brings warmer temperatures than this shoot!
I just had the best time down in San Francisco running around the city with Jessica and Brett. Jess and I were college roommates and hadn't seen each other in years. Needless to say, this was the perfect way to catch up. We embraced the weather fully and didn't let the rain slow us down; I even think we had more fun because of it! Can you believe how beautiful those Sutro Bath Ruins are though?? I couldn't believe my eyes. Their wedding is next July in Lake Tahoe and I'm already counting down the months/days/minutes... too soon?
Andrell + Kyle were down for anything. And by anything, I mean driving around in the Gorge until we found a cool road that met our expectations. They were fun, easy going, and best of all adventurous. Here's a few shots from our day!
Courtney + Dave are two cool people. I always love when clients come to me with strong visions for their session like downtown mural walls as one setting, and high up on a rock in the gorge for an opposite setting. Sign me up for all of that!
We had a blast driving around town hunting for murals and out along the beautiful columbia river gorge searching for rocks. While this might have been the scariest setting I've ever shot in, the views and photos were totally worth it! Lucky for me this wedding isn't too far away so I don't have to wait much longer to work with them again!
I think shooting an engagement session on the Oregon coast at sunset is my new favorite way to go. Chelsea and Dan have spent a significant amount of time in their relationship at a family house in Arch Cape, just south of Canon beach. They came to me with this idea to do their photos at the beach, and I couldn't say yes fast enough. They also brought props: their two adorable dogs! Seeing their favorite parts of the beach and watching their dogs roam free was just… yes.
I'll just let the photos speak for themselves.
Liz + David and I galavanted around Oregon on Memorial day during one of the hottest days Oregon has seen yet. We laughed our way through town and might have had some questionable park jobs along the way, but these two were so full of love and joy that they made my job easy.
Both are originally from Idaho (the same town, even) but met out here in Oregon. I can't wait to head out that way for their wedding next summer!
